Question:

As Salem Aleykoum. I usually have my period for 11 days. I would also like to point out that I have yellow discharge throughout my cycle. This time, after 6 days, I saw several white secretions on the cotton. So I concluded that I was pure and performed ghusl, even though on the 7th day I saw a yellow discharge. I fasted for two days, and then I saw a yellow discharge again.Knowing that my menstrual cycles last on average 11 days, should I consider this as menstruation or as normal discharge?

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad (ﷺ) is His Slave and Messenger.

Any yellowish or brownish discharge that a woman sees after she has attained purity is not considered menstruation. Rather, such discharge is only regarded as menstruation if it is connected to bleeding.

Based on this, your fast is valid, and you are not required to make up any days.

Allah Knows best.
