Palestinian truck drivers protest rising prices

Dozens of Palestinian truck drivers blocked the main streets of the West Bank city of Ramallah Sunday to protest the Western-backed Palestinian Authority over rising prices and delayed payment of salaries to more than 150,000 civil servants, the Associated Press is reporting.

Two dozen quarry workers also held a demonstration close to the blockade.
Palestinian officials have not responded to the protests, saying budget cuts have been made only because foreign donors' are failing to deliver promised money to the country.
