Is it permissible for someone in a state of Ihraam to use Vicks and the like (i.e. medical substances with a strong odor) to relieve cold symptoms?

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

It is permissible for a person in the state of Ihraam (ritual consecration) to use Vicks. This is because it is not a kind of perfume nor does it contain perfume. This is also based on the fact that it is not a substance commonly known to be used as a cream for improving one's appearance but rather as a treatment for colds.
