Syrian regime kills 67 people, activists say

At least 67 people were killed on Wednesday in several cities across Syria by the Syrian regime, activists said.

Assad forces killed 16 people each in Damascus and Aleppo, and 35 others in cities across Syria, according to the Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR), a London-based group which tracks civilian and dissident casualties.

11 children and 10 women were among the dead, with many people injured in howitzer and rocket attacks by the regime forces, said the SNHR.

Meanwhile, fierce clashes took place between Assad forces and the Syrian opposition in the suburbs of Daraa'a, Yermouk and Douma, the Syrian Revolution General Commission (SRGC), a coalition of opposition groups, said.
