Informing someone that you have supplicated for him
As-salaamu 3laikum, I would like to know, if you make du3a to Allah asking Him to help a fellow Muslim, can you tell that person that you made du3a for them with the intention of letting them know that you care about them (whether they asked you to make du3a for them in the first place or not)? what is the fate in the after life of a person if he was suffering from severe schizophrenia but didnt know that, and in frustration and depression says prayer or prays to god to send him to hell in the afterlife and also says to god to send him to hell even if he in future asks for forgiveness and changes his mind and asks god to send him to heaven,.. Memorizing supplications in Arabic without knowing their meaning
Dear Scholar, Assalam-o-Aliekom! May Allah have mercy on you. I have memorized most of the Dua's mentioned in the Quran and some of the Dua's reported from the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). Supplicating during fall of snow or hail is recommended
Assalaam alaikum, it is recommended to do duaa at the time of rain. as reported in hadeeth. Does the same apply when it is snowing or when hail falls?? As these are different things?? And if some one dislikes rainy climate due to personal dislike is he loosing reward since rain is blessing from allaah??

He wants his Du'aa' to be answered quickly
Salam Alakium, Can you answer this specially from Quraan and Sunnah, not using similar answer. I want my duas to come true fast, I know Allah accepts in 3 ways. There is a hadith states nawafil brings you closer to Allah, untill he loves you and if he asks he gives you...does this mean its more likely and likely he will give you what you asked fast... More

Supplicating Allaah for a good voice in Quran recitation
I love to recite the Koran. I often listen to Quran recitations and find the voices of the reciters (Qurra) very nice. But I do not find my voice so beautiful. Is it permissible to make dua that Allah gives me a beautiful voice like the famous reciters (Shuraim, Mishary, Saad al-Ghamdi, etc.)? Can this end in shirk ar-riya? please reply in detail.

Unintentional mistakes in supplication are pardoned

Asking Allaah to hasten one’s punishment in this life
