Complexion of "good" or "bad" Muslims

Question

Is it true we could know someone (Muslim) either they were bad or good by looking at their face or complexion. I heard some scholars said that the good Muslim their complexion look radiant and people love to look at them and the bad Muslim complexion looks glum ...etc. Has Allah (S.W.T) given some mark or sign that make people recognized them. Give any evidence or proof from Qur'an and Hadith that speaks about this matter.

Answer

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. No doubt good deeds let the face become radiant and the heart become good and that sins have the opposite effect.
Ibn Abbass said: 'The good deed gives radiance to the face, light in the heart, strength in the body, opulence in expenditures and love in the hearts of people. Whereas the bad deed gives darkness to the face, weakness in the body and hatred in the hearts of people'.
Some people can sense by clairvoyance and discernment given to them by Allah whether a given person is among those who are sinful and deviant. They can perceive that by just looking at them.
A person who remains steadfast following the rules of Shariah Allah will love him and make the other good people love him as stated in a Hadith reported from Abu Hurairah relating that the Holy Prophet (Peace and blessing be upon him) said: "When Allah loves a servant, Angel Gabriel is apprised and informed that: 'Allah, the Exalted, loves So and So, do thou love him also'. Then Angel Gabriel also starts loving him and sends a call throughout the Heavens calling upon the dwellers that 'Allah loves So and So, so you also love him'. Then the dwellers of the Heavens also start loving him, and then he is made popular in the world (as well). [Reported by Imams Bukhari and Muslim].
Another version of Muslim's Hadith says: The Holy Prophet (Peace and blessing be upon him) said: "When Allah, the Exalted loves a person, He calls Angel Gabriel and says: I love So and So, so love him. Hence Angel Gabriel loves him. Then it is announced in the heavens and said: Allah loves such and such person so love him, thence the dwellers of heaven love him. 'When Allah is displeased with a servant, He calls Angel Gabriel and says to him: 'I am angry with So and So as such you should also be displeased with him, and Angel Gabriel also gets angry with him. Then he sends a call all over the Heavens: 'Allah is offended with So and So, you should also be offended with him. Thereafter hatred against him is spread in the earth (as well)".
The above Ahadith establish the fact that the religious and steadfast Muslims love the steadfast Muslim. The innovators, dissolute, aberrant persons dislike such a believer, because their love and affection are for persons like themselves. For the believer, the love of this group is a severe trial.
Allah knows best.
