Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.

We have already issued Fataawa 86772 and 86090 that it is not permissible for a Muslim to desert a fellow Muslim for more than three days without a valid reason.

Therefore, we advise you to talk to your friend and continue keeping ties with her, and you should be keen to be the one who starts talking and contacting her as the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) said: "the best of them is the one who starts saying Salaam to the other." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim] If you do so, then you fulfill what is required from you and you are not sinful if your friend refuses to reconcile with you. It is the one who refuses to reconcile who is sinful. The Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) said: "A Muslim is not allowed to abandon another Muslim brother for more than three days. If three days pass and he meets him, he should greet him. If the latter returns his greeting, then they both share the reward; but if he does not return it, he alone will incur the sin and the person who greeted is freed from the desertion." [Abu Daawood]

An-Nafraawi may Allaah have mercy upon him from the Maaliki School of jurisprudence, when interpreting the expression 'the person who greeted is freed from desertion', said: "…one should not restrict himself to greeting him when seeing him, rather, one should ask about him and his affairs every time he sees him."

Allaah Knows best.
